Lithographed Boy and his Dove

Early lithographed scrap with Boy with wearing a red cap and a green velvet jacket. He has red bows on his legs and a big sash around the waist. He enjoys playing with his dove. It looks like a fold by his waist but it is more just like a little bit of paint missing as I can't really see a fold or bent. It's stamped on the back side with the chocolate brand name "PAYRAUD". A real lovely lithographed scrap of two ladies having a coffee klatsch. The standing lady probably lost her coffee pot as it looks as she was holding something in her hand. This lithograph is embossed and vibrant. There is a sticker on the back side and it is for "FIL a COUDRE au SANGLIER" - a precious scrap, detailed, fragil and lovely. A beautiful scene of an early Victorian scarp - it shows just loving care. The little boy hurt himself on his leg and the little girl is his nurse in this emergency. They were playing with the ball and the boy must have been fallen over a root. He has that bad sharp branch in his hand still and his shoe in the other. The girl wrapps a bandage around his leg.
