Outstanding Victorian Umbrella

This beautiful umbrella is two toned. It has a creme colored handle and underside with the top having an additional pink coat applied. Thick twisted wire trim surrounds the perimeter, held on with a tight wrapping of thick crinkled wire that shows green oxidation. A beautiful example of an early Victorian ornament. Early freeblown Victorian unsilvered Zeppelin. Nicely wire wrapped with a tinsel propeller in the back. Raphael Angel sits in the gondola but he as well the Zeppelin show the thousands of miles they flew over the decades as both lost a lot of their vibrant paint. Victorian wire wrapped Drum Beautiful Big Drum. Unsilvered Pink painted Drum is wrapped with both thin and heavy crinkled wire. Light blue beads decorate the body and on each end are cloth drum heads. Two silk like pom poms hang down on each side. A string hanger runs end to end. 3" diameter. 4" long. Nice old piece.

Early Victorian double ballon with unusual color that is something between copper,brown and purple. It is unsilvered with a pearlized finish. A scrap of an angel, carrying a Christmas tree, in a uncommon color. the wire wrapping is in very good shape as also the paint is. There is one area where the paint is worn off.
