Great Cotton Cleaning Woman. She is wearing a crepe apron over a crepe dress. The apron has pockets on the front and shows tears on both the front and back. A bow is applied on the backside. She has nice paper hands and holds a feather trimmed duster. Her face is a composition mask. Great cotton ornament in very good condition. Rare cotton Japanese Lady. She has a beautiful painted paper mask face. Her great hair is from wool and two Dresden hair pins are stuck in to keep her hair in an order. Great crepe paper kimono with a Dresden trim. Dress has one flaw at the left side below. Rare cotton ornament in very good condition. Great cotton Bavarian Farmer with "Lederhosen" and a hat with feathers. He has a great painted face with a mustache and ears. He carries a stick and a bow tie decorates his shirt. Face, hands and legs are rosy. A classic cotton angel carries her heralding horn to trumpet in the Christmas Savior. Beautiful Dresden wings held in an upright position. Her legging straps are dwindling and only remnants remain of more markings on her breast, yet she retains her charm and splendor., her scrap face in fine condition. String hanger intact on back. Early charming cotton Elf on skis wearing a red fabric pointed cap with a Dresden star in the front. His warm brown sleeveless coat worn a lot as it became quite a bit thin at the backside. Also his red belt which actually is a wool string, has seen better days. Beautifully painted composition face with most charming features. Pole and skis are wooden. Warmly winter white dressed Up  Cotton Girl with a Pole. Her cosy cotton winter coat is buttoned up and her clean off white crepe skirt is huddeling against her legs all wrapped up in comfortably warm cotton stockings. Her gentle glance is comming out of a great lithographed paper scrap and has so much charme. Hard to find Native with a Spear and Shield. An old spun cotton ornament with applied cloth feathered Head Dress and Waistband. Cotton Woman with a scrap face. The basket on her back is full of flowers and berries and she carries an armload of branches. Her cotton shows some dark spots and her faded crepe dress has torn in the front. Despite all this is still charming. This nice looking Granny is non other than the Witch from Hansel and Gretel, looking ever so nice as she greets the lost siblings. Her nose is the giveaway. Her fine crepe paper dress is covered with a rather plain looking apron. The same crepe is used to form her bonnet which is trimmed with a red bow. Gold gilded Dresden glasses are applied over her painted eyes. Perhaps she held some gingerbread cookies at one time.Threaded loop hanger.
