Beautiful Porcelain Christmas Plate with a Santa in a blue coat. This Plate has a scalloped edge. The gilded gold around the edge does show some ware though. The center scene shows Santa with Elves how they are cutting a Christmas tree in the wood. Santa is loaded with toys. Plate probably given as a gift to customers of the store "Kaufhaus Pappenheimer" in 1927. Also Christmas greeting is printed in golden letters "Fröhliche Weihnachten" .
